Before You Apply
Before you apply for a DTS here is some important information you need to know.
Visa
If you are NOT British, you may require a visa to take part in our DTS. While many nationalities are allowed to enter for six months as a short term visitor, there is a cost associated with entry. Other nationalities require a visa to enter the United Kingdom. Please apply for your DTS two months in advance in order for the visa process to be completed.

School Fees
There is a £100 registration fee due with the application form that goes towards the overall school fees and is non-refundable.
References
Your application form must be accompanied by two references: one from a mature Spiritual friend and one from a Christian leader who knows you well. Both references must be received before your application will be considered.
YWAM York also requires a medical reference to be included with your application.
Video Interview
We would like to meet you “face to face” as a part of the application process! Once your application and all of your references have been received, we will arrange a Zoom meeting with you so that we can get to know each other and so that you can ask us any questions you may have.
Transport
Flights to York, transportation around the city and any outreach transportation tickets are not covered in the school fees.
