The second value of YWAM is to make God known, and we do that in several different ways. If you’d like to join in with us in reaching out to York, we would love to have you. Find out more about the ways we are currently reaching out locally below:
Monthly Evangelism
We love seeing the people of York encounter the love of Jesus!
As a team, we have committed to doing monthly evangelism in the York partnering with the Belfrey. We usually meet on the first Friday of the month outside the Belfrey, but sometimes the time and location changes. Our evangelism takes many different forms - it could be performing music and dance in the streets, doing bubbles and other children’s activities in the shadow of amazing historic buildings, having questions on giant chalk boards or walking through the local markets and speaking with the traders. But however it looks, we would love for you to join in! Feel free to email team@ywamyork.org (or message our Instagram!) to check the time and location and let us know you’re coming along!
Weekly Intercession
We are committed to praying for our community, city and nation every Thursday. Sometimes this looks like a prayer walk through the city, praying at a cafe over coffee, or simply praying at the Barnabas Centre. Youth Club
We are partnering with St Barnabas Church to host a Youth Night on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. School years 6+ are welcome. Come for games, snacks, and good conversations! Email renee@ywamyork.org or keep an eye on our social media pages for more information!
Kid's Club
Our Kid's Club meets at the Barnabas Centre on Wednesdays 3:20-4:20pm. All children currently in primary school are welcome. If you would like more information or would like to register your child please email yvonne@ywamyork.org
